What Would You Do?

There is an important debate going on within the autism community regarding vaccines. The evening drama Private Practice recently did a show on vaccines. Regardless if you saw the episode or not, the questions are quite clear... They are currently taking a poll, asking "Did Arlene have the right to refuse to vaccinate two of her sons?" Right now the poll is 47% to 63% we are running behind. We need you to vote YES!!! The next question is, "Was Cooper right to vaccinate the youngest child against the parents' wishes?" We need you to vote NO!!! Why vote on a t.v. shows topic? This poll speaks volumes and influences the views on vaccines and autism. We are banning together as one and placing our votes. There is no limit on how many x's that you can vote. One you vote, refresh your page and start the voting process all over again, several x's. We need to seek this opportunity that is a topic in the mainstream and get our voices heard. As one of my members Gabby within my Yahoo Group stated, "ABC wants to know if you believe in the right to refuse vaccines. Be sure to vote because Big Pharma's employees will be doing the same. Show them how powerful we are as ONE voice."

BIO: Shauna Layton is the Founder of Together In Autism (T.I.A) and is currently writing a book of her unexpected yet humbling autism journey. She has marched in Washington, DC and been interviewed by various national resources. She is a wife, mother, activist, and advocate who is a full-time caregiver working from home. Upon her oldest child's ASD diagnosis in 2007, she found herself in a region of the Midwest (Indiana) with no available resources within hours. Shauna learned quickly that upon a diagnosis of autism, you are thrown into a whole new world where you are put into a role of advocacy that you necessarily didn't ask to sign on for. Through her research for her own child, she wanted others to benefit from her findings to make their journey a smooth one. Her mission through her website, radio program, books, articles, and various projects is to arm those around the globe with resources, knowledge, faith, hope, courage, strength, and positivism. Most importantly, she wants to let people know that that autism is treatable and recovery is possible. She believes once autism is introduced into your life, you can face anything. Shauna knows this is what she was put on this Earth to do, it is simply God's plan.

This show’s topic will be an Introduction. My second show will be an interview with a Mother Warrior "Deanna" who lost her son to the Hep B vaccine and is now battling a new diagnosis of cancer. "WE Are Together In Autism" will air every two weeks.
